The Belle II experiment is an upgrade of the B factory experiment Belle at the KEK laboratory in Tsukuba, Japan. It's expected to obtain a integral luminosity 50 times larger than the previous version of the experiment. Due to the upgrade, large data samples is also expected, and it requires a new computing model to provide sufficient computing power and storage capacity for the processing and analysis of the data.
Since July 2013 CINVESTAV is collaborating with the Belle II experiment, and since April 2015 the cluster Jaguar provides computing resources to the collaboration.
